- Public to Sovereign Cloud Migration — Major public-transportation operator, Aug 2023 - Aug 2024. Owned the on-premises Kubernetes platform for a transport-sector customer throughout a year-long engagement, migrating 2 of 5 clusters (test and prod for the internal developer platform) from Amazon EKS to a self-hosted Kubernetes platform via a blue-green strategy, for GDPR and data-residency compliance. Total managed fleet of five clusters with six nodes each.
- Puppet to Ansible Migration — Confidential SaaS provider (20+ years in market), 2023 - 2024. Replaced a long-standing Puppet estate with idempotent Ansible roles, moving the customer off a tool their hosting provider was sunsetting while running a parallel RHEL7-to-RHEL8/9 redeploy of the application fleet at the same time.
- Healthcare Application: RHEL7 to RHEL9 Migration — Confidential healthcare provider, 2023 - 2024. Lifted a life-critical patient-facing application off RHEL7 before end-of-life, onto a hardened, automated RHEL9 platform, with zero downtime.
- Enterprise Cloud Migration to Azure AKS — Confidential enterprise customer, Jan 2026 - Aug 2026. Migrated a 30-service .NET estate from Orange-hosted Windows to AKS on Azure, took over architect responsibility on the Orange side mid-project, and drove the handover to Managed Services.
- PCI-DSS RHEL Major Upgrade Under Audit Pressure — Confidential aviation customer, Aug 2025 - Jan 2026. ClamAV reaching EOL on RHEL7 forced an in-place upgrade of a 40-host PCI-DSS fleet with no parallel infrastructure option and an active audit cycle to protect. Delivered the RHEL7-to-RHEL8 upgrade alongside a full auth-layer rebuild and a 150-host OpenTelemetry rollout.
- Healthcare Postgres TLS and Host Migration — Confidential healthcare customers (two), 2023 - 2024. Migrated the Postgres host stack for two healthcare customers from RHEL7 to RHEL9 and implemented TLS connection strings with certificates, on infrastructure that real patients depend on.
- Internal Azure Platform for a Multi-Tenant IAM and M365 Toolchain — Internal Orange Business department, 2026. Designed and built the Azure platform for another Orange department's Entra ID and Microsoft 365 automation products, covering the landing zone, container hosting, DNS and the deploy pipelines, then built a third product on top of it.
- Traefik Gateway API: Multi-Certificate Listener Support — Traefik (open source), 2026. Upstream contribution to Traefik that added support for multiple TLS certificates on a single Gateway API listener. Merged and released in v3.7.0.
- .NET Thread-Pool Starvation Root-Cause Analysis — Confidential enterprise customer, 2026. Traced a recurring production failure in a .NET application down to thread-pool starvation under sync-heavy workloads, by rebuilding the customer's components into a replication harness and identifying the saturation pattern.
- Operations Centre Shared-Secret Tool on AWS — Internal Operations Centre, 2022 - 2023. There was no auditable credential-handover path in the Operations Centre, with secrets moving by email, chat or shared spreadsheets. Built an AWS-hosted shared-secret app with one-time retrieval links and retrieval logging. Still in active use across the centre.
- Kubernetes Home Lab - Era One — Personal project, 2022 - 2024. First-generation home Kubernetes platform built on self-hosted GitLab, ArgoCD, Traefik, MetalLB and cert-manager. The platform that hosted the previous version of this site.
- Automated Linux Server Management with Ansible — Personal project, 2022 - 2024. Ended manual Linux installs in the home lab. Every server bootstrap and service deploy now runs through Ansible roles, executed by GitLab CI.
- Home Lab Monitoring and Visualisation — Personal project, 2022 - 2023. Built end-to-end OS observability for the home lab, with the TICK stack collecting, Grafana visualising and Discord receiving alerts.
